About Connor Banks
Hi! Im Connor Banks. I am a 25 year old entrepreneur from Los Angeles, California who owns several successful online and offline businesses. This website is a personal journal about all the hits and misses in my quest to build a better life for myself and my family.
:: My Story ::
After graduating college with a BA in Finance in 2008 I took a job in the financial sector structuring leveraged buyouts. I worked long hours, hated my job, and eventually after 18 months on the job I quit.
Quitting a high paying, highly lucrative job was not an easy decision but I knew it was the right one for me. After quitting I spent 3 months doing NOTHING. Literally nothing. I work up everyday, went to the beach, went to the gym, ate mexican food, lounged around, and watched all my hard earned money quickly evaporate. I knew I couldnt do this forever so I sat down one weekend and began to map out ideas for businesses I wanted to start.
For the last 2 years I have been successfully building businesses both online and offline. I’ve achieved the financial and lifestyle freedom I have always wanted and have never been happier. Recently, I decided that for my next project I wanted to create a website as a personal gift to not only myself to but to other people who are interested in starting successful businesses regardless of their age, background, or financial capabilities.
:: Why Start ConnorBanks.com? ::
Great Questions! The first idea to start this blog was more of a digital diary of my business life. I wanted a ‘written in stone’ method to chronicle all the success, failures, and lessons I learned while creating, building, and developing my businesses. This blog was never supposed to be private but after showing some early posts to friends and family they convinced me to share what I had learned with the rest of the world
The second idea was based in sharing. Like I mentioned above I wanted people to be able to follow along with my journey and hopefully gain some knowledge and experience in their own quest for success. I don’t consider myself a guru, coach, or expert. The techniques and strategies I discuss on this website and have worked very well for me but might not work for everyone else. Starting businesses takes a lot of time, a lot of hard work, and a lot of trail and error.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and my website. I hope to see you return soon.
Best Regards,
Connor Banks
